Tips for the server administrators: |
Enterprise Server issue: The most common cause is a enterprise server issue. Please load up your SolidCP Enterprise server through RDP. Inside the browser load up the Enterprise local url (default on port 9003) It should provide an error that gets you further. A common error would be Error 503, This simply means the Enterprise Server application pool is not running. |
Database issue: If you load up enterprise server site and everything appears to be running (no error). The most likely cause is an conflicting piece of data in the database it self. Load up the Event log on the Enterprise Server --> Go to Applications and Services logs --> Click SolidCP. Check for any recent errors. |
Third option: Finally, you might want to try to perform your action in a browser on the server where the Portal is installed. Because this generic error is displayed on Remote hosts. On the local (Portal) host you will see a detailed error message, if any. |
